Mr. Joginder Pal Dua

Mr. Joginder Pal Dua is a distinguished banking veteran with over three decades of leadership in India’s financial sector. He holds a degree in Law from Meerut University and a Master’s in Economics from Punjab University.
He served Oriental Bank of Commerce for more than 30 years, culminating his tenure as General Manager (Corporate Credit). He went on to lead Allahabad Bank as Executive Director and later as Chairman & Managing Director for five years. His appointment as Chairman of the Board for Industrial & Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) further underscored his stature in the industry. He also served as Vice-President of the Indian Banks’ Association and has been a member of governing boards at several premier institutions across India.
Widely regarded as a stalwart in banking, Mr. Dua has played a pivotal role in strengthening credit frameworks, driving technology upgradation, enhancing brand positioning, and advancing MSME and financial inclusion initiatives.
